Imminent Danger German Shepherd Rescue

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Imminent Danger German Shepherd Rescue!  IDGSR is an all-volunteer organization so the more volunteers we have, the more dogs we can save!  Fostering is the first thing that most people think of when considering volunteering for a rescue. There are so many other volunteer opportunities, such as: planning fundraising events, being a representative at fundraising and adoption events, scheduling transport, transporting a dog or dogs, assisting with social media, marketing, photography, website maintenance, bookkeeping, dog walking, and so much more.  None of this is to say you would have to do all of these things or any of them.  They're just examples of where help may be needed.  You may have a different talent altogether.  It truly does take a village to do this work and many of our wonderful volunteers are already doing so many different roles.  Many hands make light the work they say.  The benefits of volunteering are too numerous to list, but witnessing the transformation of a dog while in rescue, watching he or she find a family, and seeing them enjoy a life that they may have previously never known, is one of the best!  Ready?
